M. D. Sawant, Producer
Mukund Sawant is a producer at the Centre. He received his Diploma in Graphic Design and Commercial Art from Sir J. J. Institute of Applied Art, Mumbai. He is also a professional still photographer. He has several still photography exhibitions to his credit. One of these, on the confluence of the three streams of colour, words and music featuring the famous painter Dr. S. M. Pandit, playwright Padma Bhushan Vijaya Tendulkar, and Classical Music exponent Padma Vibhushan Pt. Bhimsen Joshi was later compiled into a publication titled: Ranga Sur Shabada. He has also produced several slide shows on issues such as street children, tribals, drugs abuse and sex-workers. He has also documented NGO's working in the field of Development. In 1983, his film titled: Samvedna was awarded first Prize in the Category Best Feature Film at the All India Super Eight Film Festival held at Jadavpur University. Another film of his, titled: Gansi was awarded the Best Feature Film and Best Director award at the first Indian Video Festival conducted by BMPPA at Patna. He has been associated with the Centre's productions for the past twenty five years.
Gouri Uchgaonkar, Archivist
B.A. (Pscyhology) & M.L.I.Sc (SNDT)
Gouri has worked for more than a decade in archiving with Corporate Libraries and Information Centres. She has also worked as a Lecturer in Ramnarain Ruia College, Mumbai.
Bharat Ahire, Editor & Cameraperson
Editor cum Camera person. He has an Advanced Certificate in Photography from the JJ School of Art. Besides providing active technical assistance in Centre productions since 1995, Bharat has also been associated with several productions at the Industrial Design Centre at IIT, Bombay. He also has independently produced educational programmes and has done on-line editing for several programmes.

Barsha Dey, Programme Officer
M.A. (Economics)
Barsha has studied economics with specialization in statistics and econometrics from Visva Bharati, Santiniketan. She has worked at IIT Kharagpur for four years as a Project Secretary in the Dept. of Alumni Affairs and International Relations. Barsha coordinates the programmes and activities of CMCS.


Rajan Gamre, Sr. Technical Assistant
Rajan Gamre is a Senior Technical Assistant. He has a masters' degree in economics. He also trained at The JJ School of Art, where he was awarded an Advanced Certificate in Photography. Rajan has been in the Centre?s service since 1985.


Darshana Buddhiwant, Assistant Archivist
M.A. (Sociology), M.Lib.
Darshana has worked with the libraries of ICFAI and Indian Institute of Management (IIM, Indore)
Mangesh Gudekar, Technical Assistant
B.Com, Advanced Certificate in Photography
(J. J. School of Applied Art, Mumbai)
Technical assistant. Mangesh also has certificate in Cinematography Course from Vishi Institute of Media Studies at Pune and Certificate in photography course from Shramik Vidyapeeth, Worli Mumbai established by Govt. of India ministry of Human Resource Development, New Delhi. Prior to joining the centre he has worked with a television channel as a assistant cameraman.
Vrushali Mohite
Vrushali Mohite is the Administrative Assistant at the Centre. She has a B.Com and handles all the routine administrative and secretarial tasks.


Sonal Sampat
Lower Division Clerk, provides secretarial and administrative support to the Centre. She has a B.Com and a Diploma in Financial Management and Certificate course in Desktop Publishing.
Prior to joining CMCS, she was working as a computer instructor at AYJNIHH, for the hearing impaired.
